Driving back from Buffalo, I began to think about our Christmas cards. I really like Christmas cards. I plan them, Joel takes them, and I address them watching my favorite Christmas movie of all time – White Christmas. For the last couple years, we have done a single picture and had them printed on photo paper.
Last year, Joel had some new photo equipment to try out, so we staged a photo with the girls under the Christmas tree. In my mind, it was beautiful – two smiling little blondies in their Christmas dresses. We placed the *mobile* Sophia under the tree and hoped she would sit still. HA – looking back on it, what was I thinking? Ella wouldn’t look at the camera, Sophia wouldn’t sit still, I was trying to do the high pitched “look over here” daddy-wants-to-take-a-picture dance. It was quite the feat. I am all about making happy memories with the kids, so this year I thought it best to do a card with multiple pictures of the kids. After searching, my top two favorites are here and here. Best part, they will be delivered to my door – and like I said this year I am all about happy memories.
I’ll let you know when they arrive.
We are back safe and sound from Buffalo. I’ll get pictures up soon. Here’s to a great and joyous start to the Christmas season.

This puts so much perspective into your Christmas cards. When Ryan saw it, all he could say was “wow! They are beautiful.” You truly have a gorgeous and wonderful family my dear. I love you!
